The Little Blue Book

Herefordshire’s Little Blue Book was pushed through my door yesterday by the postman and I immediately thought, that looks familiar when I noticed the photo on the cover.  Then surprise kicked in when I realised it was an image I had taken at the Wye Float, an event that takes place annually here in Hereford.  I had no idea the makers of this little book were going to use my image, but it was quite a nice surprise.  This isn’t the first time one of my images has been used to sort of showcase Hereford though as a fair few years ago an image I’d taken of Hereford Cathedral was published twice in Herefordshire Life magazine.  The makers of that magazine had come across the image on my Flickr page and asked if they could use it.  I think that magazine no longer exists, or may be it has morphed into Herefordshire and Monmouthshire Living .... ?
